AGCO Announces Re-election of Four Directors

DULUTH, Ga., Apr 22, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AG), a worldwide designer, manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announces the re-election of the following Directors to the Board: Wayne Booker, Gerald Johanneson, Curtis Moll, and Robert Ratliff. These Directors will serve as Class III Directors until the annual meeting in 2007 or until their successors have been duly elected and qualified.

The remaining proposal put forth by a shareholder regarding environmental sustainability reporting was not approved.
