Biography

Jim Seaver is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing of AGCO Corporation and is responsible for AGCO's global sales and marketing functions of the four global regions of North America; South America; Europe, Africa & Mid-East; and East Asia Pacific. He was appointed to his current position in January 2002.

Mr. Seaver was previously Chief Executive Officer of AGCO Finance Group, the Company's North American retail financing joint venture with DE LAGE LANDEN, a subsidiary of Rabobank Nederland B.V. He was appointed to this position in October 1999. He has served in many senior management roles within AGCO since his early participation as a co-founder of the company; he was a part of the management buyout in 1990 and, as such, has been a member of the Company's management team since its inception. He has held various key senior management roles with the Company, including the position of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, and Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Prior to AGCO, Mr. Seaver held various management positions with Iveco Trucks, Uniroyal Tire Company, and International Harvester Co.

Mr. Seaver holds a BS in Industrial Management from the University of Alabama. He has also attended the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Executive Program and the Executive Management Program at Uniroyal Tire Company.
