Gretchen DeCoster Named Vice President for North American Customer Support
DULUTH, Ga., Aug 17, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AG), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, has appointed Gretchen DeCoster as Vice President, Customer Support North America. DeCoster will be responsible for the North America Parts Division in Batavia, IL and Product Reliability located in Hesston, Kansas and Jackson, Minnesota.
She recently served as Director of Finance, North America and began her career with AGCO as Controller, North America Parts Division in 1999, after serving as a District Controller for Browning-Ferris Industries, where she worked closely with operations and sales. Prior to BFI, DeCoster was Manager for Financial Reporting for Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers, Inc.
During her career with AGCO, she has been heavily involved in all facets of the Parts Division's business activities. "Gretchen is a welcome addition to the executive team," stated Bruce Plagman, Vice President for Global Customer Support. "This division will surely benefit from her background in, and knowledge of, the role parts and customer support plays within AGCO."
With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an MBA from DePaul University, she was selected for the Executive Management Program at Emory University in 2005.
