AGCO VP Among Most Influential Women in Georgia
Kuper to be honored at the Georgia Conference for Women

DULUTH, Ga., Sep 30, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

AGCO, Your Agriculture Company (NYSE: AGCO), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, today announced the nomination and recognition of Debra Kuper, AGCO Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, as one of the most influential women in Georgia. Ms. Kuper will receive the Glass Ceiling Award for her dedication and hard work as a leader at the Georgia Conference for Women today. "We are very pleased and proud that the achievement and commitment of Ms. Kuper are recognized and honored," said Martin Richenhagen, Chairman, President and CEO of AGCO.

The Georgia Women's Conference is a first time event. It is a statewide conference focusing on professional development, community, networking, entrepreneurship and women's health. The conference lends itself to be a statewide dialogue for Women in Georgia and recognizes individuals for their commitment and hard work with the "Glass Ceiling Award" and the "Men Who Champion Women Award." This year's theme is "Experience the Power of Connection!"

Debra Kuper was appointed Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in May 2008. She has overall responsibility for the Company's legal matters, including the ethics and compliance program, litigation, regulatory and securities filings, executive compensation, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and other worldwide legal activities. She also is responsible for the corporate records and minutes, resolutions and consents of AGCO's Board of Directors.

Kuper has a broad range of legal experience. She joined AGCO from Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois, where she served as Senior Corporate Counsel. She oversaw Caterpillar's corporate governance, securities, tax and regulatory compliance group. Prior to joining Caterpillar, she served as Associate General Counsel of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville, Arkansas where she handled international commercial agreements and litigation. She received her J.D. from Marquette University and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
